I have been a certified personal trainer since 2005. My degree comes from the NSCA. I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Let me first tell you about myself. I was always an athlete growing up. I played three sports all throughout High-School. I played football in the fall, basketball in the winter, and baseball in the spring. I was always in pretty good shape because of this. However, I was so busy playing sports that I never learned how to eat and exercise properly. I had a work ethic for practice and games but I never learned to get my body prepared for life. While playing baseball in college I gained a lot of weight. I I was up to 285 pounds within three years after I graduated. I have since lost almost 90 pounds and have now kept it off since 2007. Hopefully this blog will be a place anyone can go to for tips on nutrition and fitness. If you feel that you need more than that please don’t hesitate to contact me personally. I lost the weight and you can too. My training style comes from an athletic background but I have trained many people who are new to working out. This blog is designed to help you be fit for life.
